PhD Circle, based in Zurich, is an international association of PhD professionals from academia, research, industry, and startups. Established in 2025 with the support of expert groups, the Circle brings together scholars and innovators from around the world.

The PhD Circle is a diverse, multilingual, and inclusive platform that actively promotes collaboration with researchers of all nationalities and cultural backgrounds. We celebrate diversity and openness, welcoming individuals regardless of ethnicity, language, religion, or nationality. 

Our mission is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration in the life sciences and AI by providing an inclusive, dynamic, and ethical environment. We are driven by curiosity, a spirit of collaboration, and a shared commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and innovation.

We offer mentorship and support to PhD students, helping them grow both personally and professionally throughout their academic and entrepreneurial journeys. Furthermore, we provide writing, proofreading, and editing services for a wide range of technical and scientific texts. Through global retreats, scientific talks, digital labs, and networking events, we create opportunities for meaningful exchange and inspiration.

The Circle actively promotes research, supports creative ideas in the startup ecosystem, and builds strong connections with industry professionals. We provide a space where ideas are shared, challenges are addressed together, and achievements are celebrated.

Our members include graduates from leading institutions such as ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, Oxford, Harvard, MIT, and UC Berkeley. Open to PhDs worldwide as well as collaborators and mentors from diverse backgrounds. PhD Circle is dedicated to enabling interdisciplinary collaboration, driving discovery, and turning research into real-world impact.
